Ferencz Olivier – Appearance at Techno-Classica trade-fair

In the beginning of this year I have already reported about my current project in the news feature Racing Legends of the Past. Meanwhile the first two large-sized artworks, dealing with the classical Mille Miglia from 1927 to 1957, have been completed and will be presented to the public next month.

From 10th to 14th April the 25th Techno Classica will take place on the trade-fair premise in Essen. On this biggest trade fair for collectible automobiles in the world I will exhibit my artworks in fair hall 4 (stand 122), from Wednesday to Sunday.

Accompanying the Mille Miglia series, a new catalogue is being produced. Upon completion, you will be able to download it from my website´s  download section download section. In addition, a new exclusive section on my website will follow that is going to deal with the project „Racing Legends“. Further reports will follow.

LEGENDS OF MOTOR SPORTS

Motor sport, as we know it today, looks back at a century of history full of triumphs, tragedies and technical evolution. Some of the involved vehicles, pilots, constructing engineers and racing courts have lost nothing of their radiance until today - the stuff that legends are made of.

As a visual artist I dedicate the first two chapters of my project “Racing Legends“ to the myth of the classical Mille Miglia from 1927 to 1957 and the history of the victorious racing car brands from this era. Chapter 1 deals with the overall winners from this time in a closed series of six paintings, whereas chapter 2 of this edition is reserved for the respective class winners.
